Data collection capabilities are already integrated into the SEP2W platform, minimizing integration and maintenance costs. Use of open technologies and standards gives an unprecedented level of system flexibility and reliability, ensuring that all the features and functions you might need can be rapidly deployed.

SEP2W was designed and developed with one constant requirement in mind… change. The rate of change that our customers are facing is growing so it is paramount that the MDMS is capable of adapting to these changes easily, without any need for expensive customization or adaptation. SEP2W Meter Data Management System is an extremely flexible services based solution of modular design. Use of open standards and technologies ensures effortless integration with existing legacy systems.
Reliability and scalability are also one of the main characteristics of the system, providing you with a solution not only fitting your current needs, but also the needs that may arise due to system expansion, future changes in legislation or/and operational requirements. Deployment in virtual environments is supported as is utilization of Oracle, MS SQL or DB2 DBMS. Through its extremely flexible design, SEP2W System can even expand functionality of existing systems, optimizing business processes all over your organization.
SEP2W System is a Windows services based MDMS with a single GUI for configuring the system operation. Windows Security is supported in addition to proprietary SEP security policy. On top of managing the data, SEP2W System already has data collection capabilities (various device drivers included), reducing integration and maintenance costs.
SEP2W MDMS Editions
SEP2W BASE Edition
The Base Edition includes a single database (Database) license, core functionalities (Core), management (Manager), communication and protocol drivers (Meter Access), device operation definition (Meter reading), workflow definition and process description (Scheduler) and report generation and distribution (Report).
SEP2W PROFESSIONAL Edition
On top of the BASE functionality set, the PROFESSIONAL Edition already incorporates reception, processing and distribution of device alarm messages (Alarm), aggregation of multiple device consumptions into a single virtual device consumption (Aggregation) and validation of the metering data received by the system (Validation).
SEP2W System Enterprise Edition
The ENTERPRISE Edition is the most advanced edition available as it incorporates all available modules or functional units. It already includes integration to other business applications (Web Service), file dump or database to database based data exchange (Import/Export), internet access to consumption information for consumers (Web Portal), detailed survey and setting of individual meters (MeterView) and a dedicated GUI for supporting customer service activities (Pin Point).
SEP2W MDMS Modules
The BASE and PROFESSIONAL EDITION can be supplemented with additionally purchased add-on modules, which will extend the system functionality.
