Communicator
An intelligent modem /interface and a recorder for data transmission between multifunction meters (MT831, MT860, TE855, etc.) and a data processing centre. Programmable CS inputs enable connection of the meters with impulse outputs. Data are stored locally in a non-volatile memory.
- Data readout from max. 31 multifunction meters
- Communication with the meters is performed via the IEC 62056-21 protocol (modes A, B, C and D)
- Connection of max. 4 meters with a pulse transmitter
- Communication towards the centre for data processing is performed via the DIN 19244 protocol
- Communication interfaces
– to the meters: RS232, RS485 and CS (active and passive) interface
– to the AMM centre: PSTN, GSM modem, ISDN interface
- Power supply: single-phase or three-phase 100-230 V AC
- Assembly: independent or on a meter terminal cover
