Communicator

An intelligent modem for data transmission between multifunction meters (MT831, MT860, TE855, etc. ) and a data processing centre.

  • Data readout from max. 36 meters simultaneously
  • Communication with the meter is performed via the IEC 62056-21 protocol (modes A, B, C in D)
  • Communication towards the centre for data processing is performed via the DIN 19244 protocol

  • Communication interfaces
    – to the meters: RS232, RS485, CS (active and passive) interface
    – to the AMM centre: PSTN, ISDN, GSM modem or Ethernet interface
  • Power supply: single-phase 100-230 V AC
  • Assembly: independent or on a meter terminal cover
