Communicator

A modem/interface used for data transmission between multifunction meters (MT831, MT860, TE855, etc.) and a data processing centre.

  • Meter data reading in a transparent way (without data storing or protocols conversion)
  • IEC 62056-21 protocol (C mode without rate changeover) is used both at the meter side and towards the data processing centre
Technical data:
  • Communication interfaces
    – to the meters: RS232, RS485, CS (active and passive) interface
    – to the AMM centre: PSTN, ISDN, GSM modem, Ethernet interface
  • Power supply: single-phase 100-230 V AC
  • Assembly: independent or on a meter terminal cover
