Safety and health at work policy

We are aware at Iskraemeco of the responsibility for providing a working environment that ensures the safety and health of our employees and of all those involved in our company’s processes, products and services. We wish to maintain the health of our employees and other interested parties, and we are therefore committeed to constant improvement of the working environment and reducing the risks of work-related injuries and health defects. To realize set targets, we will introduce the following measures:

When planning processes, products and services, we will take into consideration legal regulations and standards in the field of safety and health at work applicable in Slovenia, the EU and in our customers’ countries;

The responsibility of employees for implementing procedures that provide safety and health at work is specified by systemic documents of the integrated business management system, determined by the Managing Board and managers in relation to each employee;

The safety and health at work policy is periodically checked by the management. Internal audits of the safety and health at work systems are carried out periodically in accordance with the OHSAS18001 specification and internal documents;

In order to ensure safe working processes, we provide equipment and premises that do not involve any risk in terms of safety and health at work;

We develop safe systems, products, services and procedures on the basis of complete risk evaluation;

We provide training to all employees, we supply proper instructions and information, and we provide introductory training to new recruits and we monitor the effects of the safety and health at work policy;

Iskraemeco’s managers at all levels support the measures for implementing safe and healthy working conditions. We also try to contribute to the better awareness, commitment and personal responsibility of all employees by setting a good personal example.
