Representatives of Texas Instruments again in Iskraemeco

After the visit of Richard K. Templeton, President and CEO of the Texas Instruments company (www.ti.com) in February, Gregg Lowe, Senior Vice President visited Iskraemeco again. The main purpose of the visit was to continue discussions about strategic guidelines and cooperation in the future. Texas Instruments, the leading world manufacturer of semiconductors, is our main supplier of processor-integrated circuits which Iskraemeco uses in electronic residential meters. This segment of meters is sold in more than one hundred countries worldwide. This visit will deepen effective and close cooperation both in technical and commercial fields, and enable Iskraemeco to continue its development and production of technically advanced and commercially competitive meters. Technical experts will meet in Kranj soon in order to draw up guidelines for the development of new products which will be launched in the years 2010 and 2011 as new meter families.

In this occasion, Mr. Lowe also visited the production and granted the Iskraemeco’s representatives a certificate of recognition for cooperation in the field of development, and for the achieved business results of mutual cooperation in the year 2009. A similar certificate of recognition was already granted by Mr Tempelton in 2008.
